In Game 4 of the 1996 ALDS, the Baltimore Orioles struck out 23 times agaisnt the Cleveland Indians, the most in a single postseason game.

Despite this, they won the game in the 12th inning, advancing to the ALCS. Coincidentally, the 1997 Indians have the second most strikeouts in a single season game at 21, also winning the ALCS game against the Orioles.
